National Cooking Day!

It can be easy to get in a bad habit of constantly ordering takeout and heating-up frozen meals. That’s why we’re celebrating National Cooking Day on September 25th. This week slow down and enjoy the process of preparing your own food — and the joy of eating it! So put on your aprons and get cooking!

National Cooking Day Activities

1. Cook your favorite meal

We all have one dish that speaks to us, whether it’s our grandmother’s meatloaf or the first dish we learned to cook. So put your twist on the recipe and make it yours.

2. Bake something sweet

Celebrate this sweet holiday by preparing your favorite dessert! Cakes, cookies or brownies, you name it. Skip going out this Friday and make yourself a treat!
